Hedonistic and sophisticated, our Dionysus candle is a jovial blend of plentiful red wine, plump black cherries, and merry spices.

Set in a fine copper vessel inspired by the Bronze Age, like all of our Greek Mythology candles, Dionysus is hand-poured in America withal a coconut soy wax blend and a crackling wood wick.

In ancient Greek mythology, Dionysus was the god of the festivity, the grape harvest, fertility, winemaking, orchards, and fruit.

Burning & care

Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn. On the first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the jar (about 2 to 3 hours) so it does not tunnel.

Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time, on a heat-safe surface, away from drafts, pets and children. Stop when about 1/2 inch of wax remains.

This candle took a little longer to arrive, but honestly exceeded my expectations as it burns long and is super durable; I've had it for months, literally from the beginning of Summer to the start of Winter and it's still going. It's superb quality in that it doesn't smell and is good for your health, as you can tell it's coconut wax, with a wooden wick which is easy to trim and adds a crackling ambience perfect for making a room extra cozy. I personally didn't enjoy this scent but that's on me. Regardless, I will be back to try out the different scents sometime as it's such a long lasting, high quality candle. Overall a great product that ticks all the boxes for me, with an adorable tin to hold it. Sincerely recommend these candles over any other ones I've tried - and that's many!
