A wooden lantern that warms a jar candle from above with a small bulb instead of a flame. The candle melts from the top down and fills the room with scent, with no smoke and no open flame. When you switch it off, the wax sets again and the candle is ready for next time.
Made by Candle Warmers Etc. in Draper, Utah. Aged espresso wood with a black metal roof and a hinged, latched door. It fits jar candles up to 22 oz and 6 inches tall, so it takes our 9 oz amber jar, the 20 oz three-wick and the Signature tumbler. It measures 6 x 6 x 12 inches and has a 3-foot cord with a roller switch. Each lantern is hand-finished, so the wood grain and shade vary a little from piece to piece.
Candle not included. The lantern and candle set includes a Petrichor candle.

Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn. On the first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the jar (about 2 to 3 hours) so it does not tunnel.
Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time, on a heat-safe surface, away from drafts, pets and children. Stop when about 1/2 inch of wax remains.
